My work is eclectic and traverses different moods and styles but I enjoy exploring and finding answers. I am interested in aspects of time, how through our books and oral history,our films,our artists - we can live in actual time yet understand our histories and the ancestors stories.These works of mine will leave my story and some aspect of my world behind.I have just taken over editing my own website so new changes will be ongoing and not Kool, just honest.

I love to use my Skills to relate and portray multi-layered visual stories. My range of mediums and practice's with examples of my work are displayed throughout this site. Murals are my speciality. Figurative work, genre, landscape, natural and industrial. Large scale paintings. Trade Union banners. Enduring environmental art-design - Conceptualized and site specific community based art work - Paintings - Portraits, public, family, business and community stories.Collaborative team work. Being a supervising artist on Public art projects.Hand painted ceramic tile murals.I am able to work to the design brief and budget constraints when working with clients,communities,architects and interior designers.I have renovated 4 houses incorporating various paint techniques,ceramic tiles,door features,color co-ordination, murals outdoors,ceilings,walls. Mural consultancies, working with communities vie the Internet,helping with design,mural elements and fabrication techniques while the client works with their own artists to produce the mural on site is a new service. Adult+children's art classes are now on.

Since starting this process of doing my own web site I have spent hours,writing,scanner,correcting images and laying them out for web publishing. It feels like a very private activity yet when it is published it can be read by the world. Funny concept to get your head around. It has rocked my being in having to remember, I've sat and cried, felt ashamed at times. It is ever changing and I won't know what will be the outcome of this or what If anything I will achieve beyond some personal peace .At this stage, on the 31st of December 2008, I will be finishing of this year and hope next year will bring new art adventures. It is good to be able to do a review of your life and put it into order. As a visual person to do this story I use pictures,old reports,other peoples newspaper stories, memories.The more I do the more I need to do.I also can see aspects of myself that I need to work on or even just accept. I have not painted for 6 months or more, first time for years but will again next year after I have put my past into order so it can stay in the past and I can feel more confident in my abilities and insights. We all have stories and this is mine. It is also exciting to be able to record this for my family and history. It certainly is a way for a artist to tell their own story. Not many of us make it big but we all have done something and I know so many very good artists who have slipped through the cracks of fame and who's' work could do with bigger profiles. When I have finished my story hopefully I can also help others to tell theirs. I also hope people from my past contact me even just to say Hi.
